Darshan Shah, MD

Dr. Darshan Shah is a board-certified surgeon, health and wellness specialist, published author, and serial tech entrepreneur. He earned his medical degree at the age of 21 through an accelerated program at the University of Missouri, making him one of the youngest physicians in the United States. He went on to train at the Mayo Clinic and later earned alumni status at Harvard Business School and Singularity University.

With over 20 years of surgical experience and more than 10,000 procedures performed, Dr. Shah brings an unparalleled understanding of the clinical workflow and operational challenges that healthcare practices face daily. He is also the founder and CEO of Next Health, recognized as one of the world's most advanced health optimization and longevity centers, with locations across the United States.

Dr. Shah's journey through founding FollowThatPatient and scaling multiple healthcare technology ventures gave him the firsthand insight that led to Prospera.ai — a platform built by a physician who has lived the challenges of running a modern practice and knows exactly what technology is needed to solve them.

Tom Porter is a seasoned software engineer with over 20 years of experience building healthcare technology platforms. He has been the technical backbone behind Dr. Shah's healthcare ventures since 2011, serving as Lead Software Developer at FollowThatPatient, Corp. — a CRM and patient management platform designed specifically for cosmetic and aesthetic medical practices.

Over the years, Tom has deepened his expertise in patient engagement, practice management, and healthcare-specific software architecture. His work spans the full technology stack — from HIPAA -compliant cloud infrastructure and electronic medical records to patient portals, automated communication systems, and payment processing.

A graduate of California State University, Bakersfield, Tom combines deep technical proficiency with an intimate understanding of how healthcare practices actually operate. His years of building and refining patient management tools have directly informed Prospera.ai's architecture — resulting in a platform that is robust, secure, and purpose-built for the unique demands of modern healthcare.
